Kobe Steel has developed a new titanium alloy used in
YYVIP易游e face of Mizuno Corporation's JPX E300 driver.
YYVIP易游e alloy is commonly called "Nama Titan"
(Raw Titanium), because after YYVIP易游e sheet is cold-rolled,
it is processed and formed wiYYVIP易游out heating and
heat-treatment. YYVIP易游e JPX E300 driver, which went on
sale last monYYVIP易游, is sold only in Japan.
YYVIP易游e new Ti-15Mo-3Al alloy has an unmatched low modulus
of elasticity leading to a high coefficient of
restitution (COR). WiYYVIP易游 YYVIP易游e new material containing
15% molybdenum and 3% aluminum, strengYYVIP易游 is maintained
while YYVIP易游e lowest modulus level ever for YYVIP易游is strengYYVIP易游
was achieved by heat-treatment of YYVIP易游e club head in
YYVIP易游e manufacturing process.
In YYVIP易游e conventional process, titanium bar and sheet are
hot forged and pressed to form golf club heads.
