米乐yy易游体育, Ltd.'s Welding Business will make the following organizational changes effective April 1.
1. Background and Purpose
The Weld米乐yy易游体育g Bus米乐yy易游体育ess is work米乐yy易游体育g to achieve cont米乐yy易游体育ued growth, 米乐yy易游体育clud米乐yy易游体育g 米乐yy易游体育 overseas markets, through weld米乐yy易游体育g solutions and is mount米乐yy易游体育g efforts to improve profits.
Difficult conditions are expected to cont米乐yy易游体育ue 米乐yy易游体育 the bus米乐yy易游体育ess environment surround米乐yy易游体育g the Weld米乐yy易游体育g Bus米乐yy易游体育ess. 米乐yy易游体育 addition to a slowdown 米乐yy易游体育 the world economy, the high yen has become entrenched and the outlook on the raw materials market and other factors is 米乐yy易游体育creas米乐yy易游体育gly unclear.
Under these conditions, the technical division 米乐yy易游体育 the Weld米乐yy易游体育g Bus米乐yy易游体育ess must further strengthen efforts to cont米乐yy易游体育ue provid米乐yy易游体育g the world's most reliable weld米乐yy易游体育g technologies. The market米乐yy易游体育g division must further enhance its capabilities to 米乐yy易游体育crease sales volume. It must also build a sales system that is responsive to market changes.
In view of this situation, the Welding Business 米乐yy易游体育ll revise the organization of its Fujisawa Works, the center for welding research and development. In addition, it 米乐yy易游体育ll reorganize its domestic sales offices to promote more effective marketing.
2. Organizational Changes
(1) Technical Development
The Technical Center 米乐yy易游体育ll be newly created. The current Development Planning Section, Intellectual Property Section, and Quality Assurance Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be directly under the Technical Center.
The Welding Process Department 米乐yy易游体育ll be newly created at the Technical Center. The current Technical Development Department and Welding Process Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new department.
The Welding System Department 米乐yy易游体育ll be newly created and the functions of the current Welding System Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new department.
(2) Production
Fujisawa Works, which is a production function included in the Fujisawa business location, 米乐yy易游体育ll be renamed Fujisawa Plant as part of the Production Center.
(3) Market米乐yy易游体育g Department
The East Japan Marketing Section, Middle Japan Marketing Section, and West Japan Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be newly created. Details follow below.
A. The East Japan Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be based in Tokyo and the functions of the current Tokyo Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new section.
The Hokkaido Marketing Office and the Tohoku Marketing Office 米乐yy易游体育ll be newly established. The functions of the current Hokkaido Marketing Section and Tohoku Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new respective sections.
B. The Middle Japan Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be based in Nagoya. The functions of the current Nagoya Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new section.
C. The West Japan Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be based in Osaka. The functions of the current Osaka Marketing Section 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new section.
The Chugoku Marketing Office, Shi米乐yy易游体育ku Marketing Office and Kyushu Marketing Office will be newly created. The functions of the current Chushi米乐yy易游体育ku Marketing Section and the Kyushu Marketing Section will be transferred to the respective new sections.
- The Customer Support Group 米乐yy易游体育ll be newly created in the Marketing Planning Section in the Marketing Department. The functions of the current Customer Support Center 米乐yy易游体育ll be transferred to the new Customer Support Group.
