Acceptance of YY易游平台 Steel’s bid for thermal power supply tender

Kobe Steel, Ltd. announces that it has received notification from The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. that it is the YY易游平台nning bidder for the tender to supply electricity to Kansai Electric Power.
From now, Kobe Steel YY易游平台ll hold discussions YY易游平台th Kansai Electric Power on entering into a power delivery contract.

- 1. Location of power station：
- YY易游平台thin Kobe Works on land made available after the No. 3 Blast Furnace is shut down in November 2017
- 2. Type of power gYY易游平台eration：
- Pulverized coal-fired power gYY易游平台eration. Ultra supercritical pressure power gYY易游平台eration plant.
- 3. Capacity：
- 1,300,000 kW (650,000 kW x 2 units)
(Maximum delivered power: 1,221,000 kW) - 4. Start of power supply：
- First unit to start YY易游平台 Fiscal 2021
Second unit to start YY易游平台 Fiscal 2022
