The prize was started in fiscal 2013, as part of the 易游体育app官网入口LCO GREEN PROJECT. The prize collects fairy tales, submitted by elementary, middle and high school students, about forests and other related natural themes. The winning stories are transformed into picture books by professional picture book writers, and then donated to schools, libraries and other organizations.
