Since acquiring Eco Action 21 certification in 2007, we have worked to roll out activities throughout the company. In particular, in fiscal 2015, as a result of three years of steady efforts—in response to a proposal from the worker in charge—we were able to reduce the amount of lubricant used to process wire rod primary materials by 25 percent in comparison to previous levels. This helped to greatly improve the working environYY易游平台nt and reduce industrial waste. As a result, the worker received a special prize of recognition from the president of the company, serving as an inspiration for other workers at the plant.
