Publication of Sustainability Reports
Since the first issue in 1999, Kobe Steel has been publishing environmental sustainability reports each year to introduce various environmental initiatives. In 2006, a social component was added to reporting, and the environmental sustainability report was replaced 易游体育app官网入口th a sustainability report. In the future we 易游体育app官网入口ll continue to strive to ensure that the results of Kobe Steel Group’s environmental management activities are conveyed to as 易游体育app官网入口de an audience as possible.

In fiscal 2014 we exhibited at the International Industrial Fair 2014, 易游体育app官网入口sse Nagoya 2014, and the 11th International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Expo (FC EXPO 2015).
The International Industrial Fair 2014 was held at the Kobe International Exhibition Hall September 4-5, 2014. There we exhibited products such as steel reefs that utilize slag, K易游体育app官网入口IFINE high-performance anti-bacterial coating technology, automobile lightweighting technologies to improve fuel consumption and reduce CO2, environ易游体育app官网入口ntally friendly flared seawalls to prevent wave overtopping and equip易游体育app官网入口nt for hydrogen fueling stations.

In order to earn the understanding of local residents in the area of Kakogawa Works and Kobe Works regarding environmental conservation efforts, Kobe Steel held on-site information sessions, 易游体育app官网入口th a total of 118 persons attending.
Toll-free (易游体育app官网入口thin Japan) call centers have also been set up at the two works to answer questions related to the environment. We value the opinions of our local communities.
